Hi! Thank you for stopping by to get to know me! I married my high school sweetheart and am now a proud mom of three. Originally from Oregon, our family of five now calls Georgetown, TX home. We are all actively engaged in our local church, school and sports community. I am a part time chauffeur, professional momma snuggler (yes, that’s an official thing) and our family game night’s finest competitor.

I love hosting and have a passion for reaching out into multi-generational relationships and fostering genuine connection. And, I am passionate about Biblical literacy. I mean, I really value it and I personally hope to grow in this area every day of my life. Not for the sole purpose of knowing things, but for the things I learn about God to lead me into worship and praise!

I want to share a part of my heart with you. The part that remembers a time of great pain in our family. And the part that has experienced hope. True and resounding hope that only God can provide and sustain through any situation and every day. Here is a poem that I wrote about my daughter.

Childhood Cancer

Looking at the sky, heavy with Clouds

heavy with rain but holding off until…

Until is the question

How long do we have

Is the storm coming tonight or maybe tomorrow

Or will the clouds release their torrent today

And will I be ready to weather the storm

Will the clouds produce a refreshing dew

Or will I be swept up in the wind and rain

Until my own hand is unnoticeable to my face

And when the rain stops

but the floods remain

And the devastation seeks to swallow me up

I cry out

My lips kiss the surface as I struggle against the Deep

And I see a Light

Shining through the clouds

Piercing through the waters

Hope
