TRUTH MERITS INSPECTION
Ideas can look excellent from a distance, but upon closer inspection be found, well, distorted. Unlike a Monet whose beauty and design are realized by distance, truth can and should be viewed up close. We do not need to fear that truth will be found weak and crack under scrutiny. It can stand. Truth is not obsolete and irrelevant. It does not hide in the shadows with relativity. Truth is deserving of careful examination!

Seeking Truth Jonah is a six-week Bible study designed to help teens grow in confidence in the sufficiency of Scripture through deeper understanding and thoughtful engagement with God’s Word. As part of the Seeking Truth series, this study weaves biblical literacy tools throughout each lesson, equipping students to read the Bible accurately, think critically, and live out a faithful biblical worldview.
This study guides teens through the book of Jonah—one of the Minor Prophets that, though brief in length, is rich in meaning. Through careful study of this inspired literary work, students will explore themes of obedience, repentance, compassion, and God’s loving sovereignty over all things. They will also discover how Jonah fits into the larger story of Scripture—foreshadowing Christ’s death and resurrection and pointing ultimately to Jesus as our true goal and finish line.
